About Pleasant House Bakery
The original Pleasant House is an 1800s cottage that still looks out on the rolling green hills of rural Yorkshire, England. In the 1950s and ’60s, the Jackson family called Pleasant House home.
Today, the restaurant Pleasant House Bakery in Chicago specializes in award-winning, savory Royal Pies, Royal Banger sausages, and other fine British fare. Husband and wife Art and Chelsea Jackson create every product in the spirit of the table at Art’s grandparents’ home.
